Industrial Technologies is the flagship event in the European agenda, organized biannually by the European Commission in a country holding the Council of the European Union’s presidency. IndTech2022 was held on 27-29 June in Grenoble (France), the European Green Capital of 2022, under the auspices of the French presidency. This 3-day event is Europe’s largest networking happening in the field of industrial technologies, with this year’s special focus on the green and digital transition, Industry 5.0, circularity and sustainability. It is an information-sharing platform for all the relevant stakeholders, a space for interactive discussions, as well as a stage for presenting innovative companies, successful R&I projects, leading science and research institutions.

Arround 570 people from industry, academia, policy makers and regulators joint the 2022 edition of the Industrial Technologies conference.

The SABYDOMA Project, as a Safe and Sustainable by Design project, was represented on a stand organised by the Commission, i.e., HaDEA, with other Horizon 2020 projects in the Circular Economy & Sustainability Village. Our representants were Karen Steenson and Will Stokes (from UNIVLEEDS), as well as Anthony Bochon (from G&S).

A general poster was presented on the SABYDOMA project and its aims and objectives, with flyers on the project also available. Several videos were also presented on the technology currently being developed within the project, including the biomembrane sensor, the accelerated release reactor, and cell-based testing systems.
