From 16^th to 19^th August 2022, Dr. Matt Jellicoe from the University of Leeds (UNIVLEEDS)and Marti Busquets Fité from Applied Nanoparticles (APPNPS) collaborated on a project at APPNPS in Barcelona, Spain. The project involved the successful transfer, setup, and training of a lead demonstrator for APPNPS and its staff, likely to improve their operational efficiency. The transfer of the Nano-Production line from UNIVLEEDS to APPNPS is part of Case Study 1.

To ensure that the system was functioning correctly, the team tested it using a dye to observe the flow of the system. This allowed them to identify any issues with the components of the system and ensure that the system was functioning as intended. Currently this technology is being used for the controlled synthesis of silver nanoparticles. This collaboration was an important step in improving the capabilities of APPNPS and UNIVLEEDS. It was also an opportunity for the UNIVLEEDS and APPNPS to share their expertise and to meet in person.
