DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The SABYDOMA project\, funded by the EU H2020 programme\, is delighted to invite you to its 1st legal workshop on the Safe-by-Design approach\, taking place virtually on 28th  January 2021 from 13:00h until 19:00h CET. \nWith expert lawyers and scientists from different regions of the world among the confirmed speakers\, the workshop will cover the legal aspects of the Safe-by-Design approach in the nanotechnology sector\, expanding out to “By-Design” approaches relevant in other technological industries\, such as chemical and pharma. \nThe workshop is open to scientists\, industry and commercial managers\, public policy stakeholders\, lawyers (in-house\, in a public administration or in private practice)\, compliance officers\, patent attorneys\, trade associations and NGOs representatives and all other stakeholders having interest in the safe design of (nano)technologies. \nAttendance is free upon prior registration. DESCRIPTION:This year\, the nanoSAFE 2020 Conference will virtually take place from 16th-20th November 2020. \nFor the first time\, nanoSAFE conference will be held as an entirely digital conference that will offer the nanosafety community the possibility for sharing latest research results on health and safety issues related to nanomaterials and beyond for a socially responsible approach while protecting the safety\, health\, and well-being of all participants. \nThe four NMBP-15 projects (SABYDOMA\, SAbyNA\, ASINA\, SbD4Nano) will be present during the first day of the conference\, the NanoSafety Cluster Day (November 16th)\, chaired by SABYDOMA’s coordinator Andrew Nelson (University of Leeds\, UK) in the WG-E session\, focussing on topics about Safety-by-Design\, Innovation and Sustainability.

DESCRIPTION:Andrew Nelson (University of Leeds\, UK)\, as project coordinator was invited to give a project presentation during the Nanotechnology Working Group (Nano WG) webinar on Thursday\, May 21st\, 2020. \nJoin the webinar to get a good overview of the project. \nThe National Cancer Institute (NCI) Nanotechnology Working Group (Nano WG) was established in 2008 for researchers with a specific interest in informatics and computational approaches to nanotechnology\, with a particular emphasis on nanomedicine. The goal of this working group is to demonstrate the scientific potential of federating nanotechnology databases through pilot projects aimed at integrated semantic search and retrieval of nanomedicine and nanotoxicology datasets that are applicable across nanoscience. The NCI Nano WG comprises over 20 active participants from academia\, government and industry with diverse interests. \nMore information about the event\, here.
